Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication. IndustrialX does not intentionally store your password as ordinary readable text.

You may choose to provide professional or profile information such as:
- Job title, department, trade, or discipline
- Years of experience, region, or country
- Current professional role, target role, and specialization
- Career objective, professional biography, or related information
You may also provide professional information when applying for trainer-features.
Learning and Training Information
IndustrialX may process information related to your use of learning and training features, including:

- Course participation, training enrollment, attendance, and completion status
- Certificates or other learning-related records
Community and User-Generated Content
Depending on features you use, you may submit posts, comments, likes, profile photos, community images, professional content, and connections. Content that you intentionally publish through community features may be visible to other authenticated IndustrialX users.

Direct messages, conversation-related information, and notification identifiers associated with communication features.
Jobs and Applications
Job postings, applications, resume/CV information, and applicant details associated with career features.
2. How We Use Information
IndustrialX may use information for purposes including creating and managing accounts, authenticating users, providing learning functionality, saving training records, supporting professional networking, operating the AI Tutor, maintaining security, troubleshooting, and responding to support requests.
3. Firebase Services
IndustrialX uses Firebase services provided by Google for authentication, database services, and application security. Firebase's terms and data-processing documentation apply to those services.
4. Authentication
Firebase Authentication manages email/password and Google Sign-In authentication securely.
5. Cloud Firestore and Learning Data
Cloud Firestore stores application data such as profiles, learning progress, training records, and community information, governed by application and Firebase security rules.
6. User-Uploaded Photos and Media
Profile pictures and community images uploaded via device camera or storage are managed using Cloudinary storage and delivery services.
7. IndustrialX AI Tutor
The AI Tutor processes educational prompts and active lesson context via Firebase AI services to generate technical learning responses.
8. Application Security and App Check
Firebase App Check and device-attestation mechanisms protect backend services against abuse without collecting permanent hardware identifiers.
9. YouTube and Third-Party Media
YouTube is used for lesson video playback, subject to Google and YouTube policies.
10. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
Based on current app design, IndustrialX does not collect phone contacts, SMS messages, phone call logs, microphone recordings, precise location, Bluetooth data, IMEI/serial numbers, financial payment card info, or national identification numbers.
11. Permissions
The application may request permissions required for specific features, including internet access, camera access, and photo/media access (e.g., when selecting or capturing profile pictures or community images). You can control these permissions through your device settings.
12. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain user information as long as necessary to provide platform services and maintain training records. Users may request account and data deletion through platform controls or support requests.
13. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures and encrypted protocols to protect user information.
14. Children's Privacy
IndustrialX is intended for professional industrial training and adult workers.
